"'It had to do with the Giver and the Receiver." (Lowry 81)
I picked this quote because in these part I realized that It was Jonas from The Giver being assigned the Receiver of memory. It was fun to read the same thing but in another perspective.
"Once more alone. Usually the workers took walks in pairs or groups, but again tonight the others were tired after the unusual day." (Lowry 83)
I picked this quote because in the book there many parts where Clair is alone walking to the nurturing center or thinking about her son, why wouldn't Clair just escape with her son?
Clair walking alone
This book could't get more Thrilling, now knowing that Clair is Gabriel's mother is impossible to it to get more interesting. I really like the connection between the books, because now we can know what happened after The Giver. I'm really intrigued on what would happen next. There's still little chapters to read and a big journey for Clair. What is Clair going to do? would she escape with Gabriel?
This path represents the Clair's quest on finding her son
